Atlas of the OtherwiseInformation

The Atlas of the Otherwise is a collection of maps published from the course, Cartographic Representation, via studio.geo? (studiogeo.berkeley.edu) in the Department of Geography and the Berkeley Center for New Media at the University of California , Berkeley.

Across critical, technical, creative and analytic domains, the Atlas of the Otherwise tests the limits of the cartography we have inherited and interrogates its assumptions rooted in universality, rationality and coloniality. In doing so, it aims to generate new possibilities for an expansive mapping practice by asking how might our cartography be otherwise.
